We carry out broking services for our clients in all of these areas. An overview of some of the activities we provide is elaborated below:
We agree with our clients on an appropriate insurance programme and proceed to obtain the best terms for this programme from the insurance market.
We recommend to our client the appropriate insurance to purchase and design a suitable programme to cover their risk exposures. We review insurance terms, contractual agreements and other documents. On day to day servicing, we process requests for insurance policy changes and endorsements and issue certificate of insurance.
Other additional technical services we provide include monitoring and advising our clients on insurance and reinsurance market developments.
We assist in the reporting and monitoring of claims with insurers. We work together with the appointed loss adjusters to advise on ways to mitigate a loss. We review with our clients to identify trends in claims and find solutions to prevent similar incidents from recurring. Most importantly we assist in the satisfactory settlement of claims.
We handle all classes of general insurance for corporations, international companies as well as small and medium enterprises.
The Speciality Risk Solutions team handles Specialty Insurances such as Director’s & Officer’s Liability, Professional Liability, Crime Liability, Aviation Liability and Trade Credit insurance.
We add value to our clients by providing services such as contract review and recommend suitable risk transfer solutions.
We provide employee-related insurance consultation, development of insurance programme and placement of covers.
At the request of our clients, we conduct an audit of existing employee benefits and due diligence of their existing insurance programme.
We provide benchmarking of benefits, coverage and limits and keeping our clients informed of the latest products and trends in the employee benefits insurance market.
Private Client Services’ (PCS’s) primary focus is the provision of professional broking services to the wealth management sector. We work closely with major global private banks in delivering innovative life insurance products for the affluent on wealth preservation, wealth enhancement and legacy distribution.
Universal Life is a generic name given to a life insurance product that originated from the North American markets. The key product feature is transparency in costing to the clients. Life policies procured by ZIB are at least AA (ie. very strong) by Standard and Poor’s rating.
